Air

Asturias (Oviedo) airport is 38km from Gijón and is served by regular buses (Alsa) every hour at a cost of 6 euros. There are regular flights (3 per week) from London Stansted with Easyjet and daily connecting flights with Madrid and Barcelona.

Bus and Train

Gijón is connected with the rest of Spain (and Europe) by an extensive network of trains and buses. The main railway and bus stations are 5-10 mins walk from the apartment.

Apartment

Like all buildings in Cimadevilla, the apartment is within a protected building retaining the original ancient facade (~150 years old) but of modern build. It is a duplex consisting of:

3 bedrooms- master bedroom #1 (kingsize bed and cot), bedroom #2 (2 single beds), bedroom #3 (1 single bed expandable to double)

2 bathrooms-ample shower and bath, bidet, sink etc in each. Washing machine

Large sitting room/ dining room- sofa, chairs, dining table (antique oak) and chairs (and high-chair), TV, cable, DVD player, stereo

Kitchen- Cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer

Underfloor heating and parquet flooring throughout

Linen, towels and kitchen utensils etc. provided

How to book and rental conditions

•First fill out the booking form with your details and required dates

•We will confirm availability by e-mail and details of how to pay the booking deposit (30% of total rental)- Paypal preferred but bankers draft and also accepted. Payable in euros or British pounds- current conversion rates available here.

•Booking deposit must be paid at 6 weeks in advance of rental unless by special arrangement.

•Once the funds have cleared, your booking will be confirmed by e-mail (also booking deposit reciept).

•The rest of the rental payment (70%) + a returnable security deposit of 300€ is payable in cash euros upon collection of the keys (or by bankers draft in advance if preferred).

•The security deposit will be returned in full subject to inspection for damages and breakages.

•A maximum of 6 people (including children) can stay in the apartment.
